Kage had a big old Princess Princess Party for her little girl and blogs about it, presenting the ideas as her own, being praised for being "so creative and well done!!!". But, Team SnarkerNacle has discovered Kage's inspiration. Behold, the Princess of Plagiarism.

I did get some ideas from that website...good job....and I think I mentioned that I got most of my ideas from other sites....
And though that girl from Jordan's site is really cute...guess again...
Is there a joke in there somewhere? This is one of those snarks that doesn't even appear to try to be funny. It is just mean. I assumed that either Kage herself wrote the snark or you had her permission to post this insult. If that isn't the case it looks to me like you owe her an apology. Call me humorless, but gathering ideas for a party from multiple sources, putting them all together for your daughter, feeling great about the way it turned out, then posting it to help out other mothers who may want to use some of the ideas hardly seems worthy of such an insult. I guess I missed the humor, where is the joke in this snark?

Come on lighten up! There is nothing mean about this post, it is just the facts. If you are going to post something as your own that wasn't entirely original you are just asking for it. Especially if you don't come clean after all the praise about how creative you are and requests to help plan parties for other people.
No, it isn't "just the facts". I see about 2 similarities between the linked party and Kage's party: crowns and one game. Kage's party post was full of many details and ideas not even hinted at in the link. Just an FYI: there are no original princess parties left to give. I don't think Kage ever claimed she gave a totally original, nothing-anyone-has-ever-heard-of-before princess party. There have been hundreds of thousands of princess parties thrown all over the country. No reason to reinvent the wheel. Kage threw what appears to have been a successful, fun party on a reasonable budget. It was not a wholesale recreation of the party described in the link, which is what this snark would have us believe.
Wife of Dastardly Dave (a.k.a, skl),
Your hatred for us has blinded you. There are four clear parallels between Kage's post and the link we provided:
Princess dress up
Crowns/Tiaras
Hunt for Buried Treasure
Princess & Pea
And, the joke, which you missed despite it being a huge paste up job of Princess Aurora's face on a couple of big old B&W photos, which Kage herself commented on herself, was that we posted a fake face over her "portrait" just like she always does whenever she posts pics of herself on her blog.
DKL is doing a good job at defending himself here, SKL. And while we understand your desire to defend your husband, we suggest you let his take care of it. You aren't exactly strengthening his position by flailing us madly.
If you really want us to leave him alone, why don't you encourage him to stop acting like such a pompous twit online? People who have met him live say he is actually a rather pleasant fellow, but one would never be able to determine that from the way he acts online. Since he is right there, it seems more likely you will have greater success persuading him to not be such a twit online than convincing the entire Nacle that he isn't a twit.
Thank you EVERYONE. I will restate that I never claimed the ideas to be totally orginal... "I got great ideas from the web and from brainstorming with Pukey" is a direct quote taken from my post.
The website snarky found WAS one of them as well as this one and this one and this one...to name a few. But I took some of my fave ideas and talked with Pukey and had a party. And yes it was humorous to see who you THOUGHT I was from jordan's site. I am much prettier than her! ; )
this one
sorry...link works here.
Kage, we weren't trying to figure out which one was you, we just picked the first one. Nothing personal, but we really aren't at all interested in which one you are.
Aaaah Snarker, I don't hate you. How could I hate you? We share a common crush: DKL. I wasn't actually talking about him in my comments here, but I am glad you brought him up. He is one of my favorite topics too.
