Girls, girls, really. I am flattered that you talk about me so much and so often, but, really, there are better ways to spend your time. How about you do your old Mother in Heaven a favor and actually help your sisters there in mortality out? Trying to be all politically uppity is the world's way of doing things. "Well-behaved women seldom make history"? Sorry, Laurel, that just isn't my way. Call me discreet, and call me old fashioned, but actually serving and sacrificing for others is my way of doing things. If you want to honor me, enough with the lip service. How about some real service? The hours you spend blogging about me could be spent actually doing something to help someone, which would really make me happy and lighten the load on all of us up here. And, it will be a lot more fulfilling for you than blogging. Seriously, what can you say about me that someone has not already said, right there on your very blog? Nothing. You are done. Thanks. Now go out and do something. Want to be an activist? How about going down to the local shelter and getting involved in a someone's life? That is the kind of activism I like.

No. That is not what I said.
Thanks for pointing out the hypocrisy of these people. They say they want to worship their Mother in Heaven, when they don't. What they want to do is forward their private political views. If they wanted to worship their Mother in Heaven they would follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church they allegedly belong to, at least the ones who are active.
If Mother in Heaven answered their prayers, she would tell them to follow her Son's teachings. What else would she say? Something entirely different? Not at all. Wife of Heavenly Father, right? What does Heavenly Father say? This is My Son, Hear Him. What would Heavenly Mother say? This is My Son, Hear Him. The entire thing is utterly absurd from a theological point of view. But, hey, this is religion, why let theology enter into the discussion. No, no, its all politics.

Yeah, that is a poke in the eye to the FMHers who want to pray to Mother in Heaven, whom the Roman Catholics consider Mary to be. Those who want to pray to MIH should go join up with the local Catholics. They got it all figured out.
I not sure if I'm appalled or thrilled. On the one hand, using Heavenly Mother as a device in a sarcastic spoof is pretty, um, "yikes!" On the other, though, the spirit of your words is exactly right.

Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy sister’s eye.
