You know, every time I read BCC I feel the Spirit leave me. Now I understand why! It's because they don't follow their own rules of Christian conduct. Sure, sure, they are honest enough to admit they are jerks, but the way they allow left wing nutjobs to freely run amok while editing, banning and deleting the right wing nutjobs goes beyond the pale. Regardless of which type of nut job you are, everyone recognizes what gross bias looks like, and BCC excesses have been extreme for the past couple of weeks. If you people don't start leveling the playing field and make at least some effort to be fair, all you have accomplished to overtake T&S as #1 will be squandered by your petty personal politics as you degenerate into a haven for left wing trolls. And you wonder why conservative Bloggernacle bloggers look down their noses at you? When you act like this you are only confirming their suspicions.

But Snarkimus, it's so much fun to be grossly intolerant! You should know!

mark iv,

We here at SnarkerNacle LTD pride ourselves on being equal opportunity offenders who target all idiots in the Bloggernacle regardless of gender, race, political affiliation, marital status, level of education or whatever. You act like a jerk, you get called on it, no matter who you are. How is that intolerant? Our bias againt the Nacle is totally unbiased.

SP, but where does that leave the idiots and jerks? Up the crick, that's where.

My inner idiot weeps at your intolerance.

mark iv,

Allow me to console your inner idiot by pointing out that you and your BCC compatriobigots are no more or less the idiot than any of the T&S [prigs]. If I and my fellow snarkers are intolerant, it is only of intolerance among the Nacle, which we are not a part of, being outside it, and therefore exempt from any criticism of it.

SnarkerNacle LTD. In the 'nacle, but not of the 'nacle. I like it.

mark iv,

Allow me to make one slight edit (one which if this were BCC I would make in your comment, without your consent):

SnarkerNacle LTD. About the 'nacle, but not of the 'nacle. You love it.

We are not in it. I haven't seen a sidebar link to SN in ages and LDSdefect doesn't count because it has it's genesis in DKL.

Creepy pic.

The creepy pic is of "General Grievous" playing on the "grieving the spirit" thing.

Crap! I was posting rules of Christian Conduct? I thought I was trying to explain how to become cool. It's the law of unintended consequences all over again.

you guys seriously need to do a snark about how blogging keeps you out of high-profile (read: high-workload) church callings.

of course a lot of bloggers are disaffecteds who wouldn't be called in the first place, but I've also noticed more than a few folks who have been released since they started broadcasting their views.

John C,

Apologies for assuming the rules of conduct for BCC as proposed by you might have some tangential basis upon our religious values. I should have known better. Regardless, it is pretty obvious that the permas there at BCC don't observe the rules you suggested, Christian or not.

Anonymous,

You are assuming people outside the Bloggernacle read the Bloggernacle, which is an unlikely proposition. It is much more likely that the people blogging in the Nacle get the mistaken notion that acceptance in the Nacle means acceptance in the LDS Church and therefore they start spouting off in Church the same way they do in the Nacle, and the result it they are quietly removed from important callings...which is convenient...since it leaves more time for blogging.

Hey now! Come on, not all of us are degenerate apostates. I would daresay not even 3/16 of us are...

Hellmut said... @ October 15, 2007 at 4:14 PM

I am not sure I am getting your shtick, Snarkimus, but I take my hat off for anyone who has been honest enough to get released.

Tracy:

So if you take off "degenerate" as a modifier, what kind of numbers are we looking at?

Shiz, if I wasn't so certain of your love for me, I would make noises of aghastment and horror!
