Whoa, I am both awestruck and amazed. We were convinced, CONVINCED I TELL YOU, that DMI Dave was a card-carrying member of the John Birch Society and a regular Iron Rodder. But, NO! He isn't, and he wants you to know that once and for all he doesn't listen to Rush Limbaugh, ever, despite the "Conservative Links" on his blogroll. I guess that cements his left wing cred with the BCC crowd.

I was a little confused about that too, Snarker. I assumed from the Conservative Blogs link that DMI Dave was a Righty.

Geez, I didn't know anyone even read that far down my blogroll. I link to FAIR and FARMS, but that doesn't make me an apologist. I link to M* and VNF, both ends of the LDS blog spectrum, but I don't think posting those links (or any others) is really me making a statement. But no link to Snarkernacle (I do have to draw the line somewhere).

DMI Dave, we here at the SnarkerNacle are crushed, simply crushed, you aren't linking to us. I am going to go sit in the corner and hug myself while I softly weep right now.

DMI Dave is fickle with his links. One minute he's linking to the New Order Mormon web site, next to the angry folks at the View from the Foyer discussion board, and now...the whole DAMU is gone. Never fear, Snark. Your day will come.

Also, one need not be politically conservative to embrace a liberal religious philosophy. I'm becoming more of a fiscal conservative every year (it comes with age, I think) but I'm positively Unitarian in my religious views.

Perhaps people who think the Establishment clause is a Good Thing need some promotion amid the current Religious Right encroachment on our wonderfully secular society.

Okay, as a hat tip to Ann, fickle DMI Dave just put New Order Mormons back on the sidebar. The other board was on my bar for a year; I only deleted them when they became rude, crude, and offensive toward other B'nacle sites, a pretty stupid move if they expected anyone to take their discussions seriously. They successfully offended people -- what did they expect the result would be?

Snark here manages to be annoying without becoming offensive, no mean trick, and does seem to provide some redeeming social value, so she is tolerated.

Oh, thank you Dave, thank you, thank you, thank you. Can I fawn in your meager praise just a little more? Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Late reply drifting off the bottom: but thanks for linking back to NOM, which is getting (a little) more traffic and is considerably less obnoxious, offensive, etc. I "resigned my membership" for the very same reason you unlinked them. Might as well link to RFM.
