There is this new guy on the Moarch (he hasn't been listed on LDSdefect yet, so here is your fair warning DKL) named Rob Osborn and he is single-handedly reinterpreting LDS doctrines of salvation and insisting the LDS Church leadership get their act together and toe the line, because they have it all mixed up, unlike him who has it all sorted out. He also seems to really enjoy arguing about evolution as well. His views are off enough to prompts various Naclers to speculate he isn't a real person sporting real views, but is a farcical nome de plume ala Prudence McPrude or Aaron B. Cox. So, at this time, we would like to ask Aaron Brown and Cristian Cardall if they can provide exculpatory evidence, and if they do then the rest of the Nacle will immediately start speculating who it really is! Racers, to your marks!

Well, proving a negative is difficult, but I will state flatly (and truthfully) that I am not writing anything in Rob Osborne's name. I learned my lesson: any future blogging I do under a pseudonym will be accompanied by associated disclaimers.

I am grateful to Bro. Osborne, however, for keeping a persona like Aaron B. Cox credible.

Rob's a JFSII, BRM, BKP wannabe, à la NDBF Gary. Our Church has plenty of them. Why snark a pawn?

Steve EM, no, Rob isn't any of those things. Go read his blog.

You know, you don't have to comment on every post.

Seems terribly earnest though. Guess he isn't much for the flood was the forming of the Black Sea, and discounts in the Bible where Noah's grandson met the gentiles who spoke a different language than they did (long before the Tower of Babel, btw).

I shall defend myself now,

If you guys don't like my opinions then then you don't have to comment on them. No, I am not singlehandedly changing mormon doctrine, I am only there to offer clarification where it is needed.

As far as the flood goes, it does seem quite interesting that Donald W Parry's article made it in the Ensign stating my exact sentiment.

Discredit me if you will, but know this- I am a real person that doesn't question you guys, I think I deserve a little more respect just because my ideas do not neccesarily agree with yours.

Thanks Snarkey, I will check Rob's site. My comment was based on his comments I've seen.

Am I about to be banned by the Snarker?

Sorry Rob, but with all due respect, we've heard that line before. ;)

Steve, you wish.

*Postscript: I guess hereafter he'll be known as a sweet-(smelling) spirit, or at the very least, Ultra-Dry.

Perhaps he'd prefer "Cool Sport."

Which I hope he is, at my gentle joshing . . .
